Le Train Bleu
Back to all places
Why take a photo here?
Because it’s one of the most spectacular dining rooms in Paris. Opened in 1901, Le Train Bleu is a Belle Époque jewel inside Gare de Lyon. The gilded ceilings, chandeliers, and painted murals make every corner feel like a palace. Dining here is an experience, but even just stepping inside offers an unforgettable photo opportunity.
Best time to shoot:
Daytime for natural light through the tall windows, or evening when chandeliers glow for a cinematic effect.
Pro tip:
Book a table to get access to the main dining room. Capture the chandeliers and painted ceilings in a wide shot, or frame yourself seated at a table to highlight the grand atmosphere.
