Notre-Dame de Paris
Back to all places
Why take a photo here?
Because it’s one of the most iconic cathedrals in the world. The Gothic façade, rose windows, and twin towers are instantly recognizable, making it a timeless backdrop for your Paris photos.
Best time to shoot:
Morning for soft light on the façade, or evening from the Seine when the sunset glows behind the towers. Night shots from nearby bridges also create a magical atmosphere with reflections in the river.
Pro tip:
For the classic front view, shoot from Place Jean-Paul II. For a more unique angle, cross the river to Square René Viviani or Pont de l’Archevêché, where trees or the Seine naturally frame the cathedral.
