Passage Jouffroy
Back to all places
Why take a photo here?
Opened in 1846, Passage Jouffroy is one of Paris’s most charming covered arcades. With its glass roof, patterned tile floor, and retro boutiques, it feels like stepping back into the 19th century. The warm light and symmetry make it a favorite Instagram spot for elegant, atmospheric shots.
Best time to shoot:
Midday, when natural light floods in through the glass roof.
Pro tip:
Stand at one end of the passage to capture its full perspective with the floor pattern leading into the distance. Detail shots of the shopfronts or the iron-and-glass architecture also work beautifully.
