Rue de l’Abreuvoir

Why take a photo here?
Rue de l’Abreuvoir is often called one of the prettiest streets in Paris. Its winding cobblestones, ivy-covered façades, and pastel houses (including the famous La Maison Rose café) create a postcard-perfect Montmartre scene. The view up toward Sacré-Cœur at the end of the street makes it an Instagram classic.
Best time to shoot:
Morning for quiet streets, or golden hour when the light warms the pastel tones.
Pro tip:
Stand further down the street to capture the curve leading up to Sacré-Cœur. For a charming detail, include La Maison Rose on the corner — one of Montmartre’s most photographed façades.
