Sainte-Chapelle
Back to all places
Why take a photo here?
Because it’s pure stained-glass magic. Sainte-Chapelle is world-famous for its 13th-century windows that rise 15 meters high and flood the chapel with jewel-toned light. It’s one of the most breathtaking interiors in Paris and an absolute Instagram favorite.
Best time to shoot:
Midday on a sunny day, when the stained glass glows most brightly and the colors reflect across the floor and walls.
Pro tip:
Use a wide-angle lens or stand at the very back of the upper chapel to capture the full height of the stained-glass walls. For detail shots, focus on a single pane with light streaming through.
